What is a crowded smile or crowded teeth?
At its simplest, crowded teeth simply means that there isn’t enough room in your mouth for your teeth to fit normally, causing them to be misaligned or overlapping. This can make people feel awkward and self-conscious about their smile.
There are various treatments for dealing with crowded teeth including orthodontic repositioning using braces, cosmetic contouring, bonding, veneers and crowns. Each method has different pros and cons.
Crowded Teeth Veneers
Veneers are used in a variety of dental situations, and this is one of the services that Dr Joe Oliver specialises in. When the front teeth are slightly crowded, laminating them with porcelain veneers helps to create the illusion of straight teeth, with the desired colour and shape.
