Brighter, Whiter Smiles, Naturally.
Everybody wants a brighter, whiter smile; and professional teeth whitening at our London clinic is the best way to get your teeth to their brilliant best. The result: a brilliant, beautiful smile, all day, every day!
Teeth whitening is the single most effective way to instantly improve the appearance of your smile and your self-confidence.
Teeth whitening is an accessible cosmetic dentistry option for almost every patient and is universally safe and effective because rather than mask discolouration, it brings out the natural whiteness in teeth by neutralising pigments and stains.
We offer a complete range of whitening treatments to suit all budgets and lifestyles.

How does cosmetic dentistry achieve teeth whitening?
All bleaching methods work around the same, basic principle: depending on the choice of techniques, hydrogen peroxide-based gels of varying concentrations are applied to your teeth, and once activated, penetrate into the tooth structure and neutralise the stains and pigments within.
Hydrogen Peroxide is a chemically unstable compound and breaks down to form free-radicals that attack chromophores (colour molecules) embedded within the tooth structure.
Because hydrogen peroxide is unstable, it can break down prematurely if not handled correctly, making some solutions ineffective… it’s all in the details!
In-office bleaching
Our in-office bleaching system is the most popular cosmetic dentistry technique for teeth whitening and will brighten and whiten your teeth dramatically. Dr Oliver believes in a combination technique where you kick-start the process using a home system.
Once this is completed, in the surgery, protective masking agents are carefully placed to cover the gums and lips.
The active whitening gel is applied for 3 consecutive, 15-minute applications and activated by a cool blue light. The whitening gel penetrates the surface of the tooth and remains active for some hours to achieve optimal and spectacular whitening results.
Home bleaching?
We also offer a range of take-home tooth whitening dentistry treatments that let you gradually whiten your teeth in your own time. Although not as instantaneous or convenient as in-chair bleaching, the take home kits provide excellent results and are a more cost-effective solution.
Professional tooth whitening can last for unto 18 months but is subject to lifestyle, including coffee, tea and red wine consumption; the need may arise to top-up your whitening procedure every so often.
Dr Oliver provides these top-up procedures at a reduced rate to our patients who wish to keep their smiles looking brighter for life.

What about sensitivity?
Not all whitening systems are the same. Sure, they can make your teeth whiter, but many whitening systems can cause transient sensitivity that can range from mild tingling to sharp, short bursts.
Dr Oliver has thoroughly researched all available products and protocols and has selected whitening treatments that are aqueous in nature, minimising the risk of sensitivity for his patients.
